Product information "Plau am See — Steinpilz II · Sketch · Wood — 20x30 cm / 8x12″ - Vertical - 10 mm"
This wood print from Plau am See presents a second study of a porcini mushroom rendered as a monochrome sketch on FSC birch wood. The image preserves fine pencil-like strokes and textured shading, translated onto warm wood grain for a tactile, matte-finished piece that reads like a contemporary field study.
Plau am See — Porcini Study
Quiet and introspective, the composition centres on a mushroom with a thick stem and a cap slightly nibbled at one side, set amid fallen autumn leaves, pine needles and patches of moss. Cross-hatching and subtle tonal variation emphasise line and surface rather than colour.
